Пришло письмо о покупке картинок с сайта Freepik.Com от некой Preena Godhwani preena@freepik.com

Кому-нибудь приходило? Стоит ли доверять? Что это вообще за сайт?

Дублирую текст письма:

Hi Dina,

I am contacting you from Freepik (www.freepik.com). Freepik is a freemium platform which offers high quality, useful and versatile content to more than 15 million users who visit our platform monthly. Therefore, we are always looking to expand the graphic content we offer at Freepik.

I recently viewed your profile http://www.shutterstock.com/g/asileva and I am interested in Purchasing a few of your illustrations. The offer would be:

Benefits: Agreement would be non-exclusive (you can have that same content in Shutterstock/similar) Get paid for content that isn’t generating you income anymore, generating extra cash immediately Be credited as the author in your work’s pages (earn free exposure + links for SEO) Reach 20 million users

Please let me know if you allow us to make a selection of the content we would be interested in purchasing and at what price you would be willing to sell them. As i said this is a Non-Exclusive agreement and you can continue to sell them in other microstock platforms.

Я для интереса ответила на письмо, спросила будут ли они потом бесплатно раздавать картинки на их сайте и сказала, что хочу по 10$ за картинку.

В ответ пришло:

Hi Dina

yes they would be offered for Free of download in our website but the offer is non-exclusive so you can continue selling them in other microstock platforms.

I will soon send an email with the illustrations we are interested.

10$ sounds good to me, I will let you know the total amount of files we are interested in.

If you have any other questions do not hesistate in contacting me.

In total 50 illustrations which would be 50 * 10$ = 500 $

Let me know if this is ok with you so you can pass me the JPG + EPS of these to upload and we can consequently send you the contract of purchase. We need the EPS files to be :

- Each file must have the eps file (version CS6) and the jpg file. - The work table must measure 1200 x 1200 pixels . - RGB color mode, and if they contain text that is expanded.

Кто-то работает с ними, есть толк?

не на пейпал, на счет переводили(но на пейпал вроде тоже могут)раз в месяц, все в срок. У меня был аккаунт на сайте, своя статистика, инвойсы, все дела.

Я бы еще глянул текст этой неисключительной лицензии, которую они хотят от вас получить.

Лицензия Freepik разрешает коммерческое использование с аттрибуцией (имя автора и ссылка на сам Freepik). Если аккаунт платный ($10) — то коммерческое использование без аттрибуции. Перепродажа и сублицензирование контента а также перепродажа производных заперещены.

А еще есть такая штука

“Subscription with Extended License” in relation with the FreePik Selection grants the User the same rights stated in the subscription provided in Section 8 and additionally allows the User to use the Contents in the FreePik Selection in printed or electronic items (e.g. t-shirts, cups, postcards, mouse pads, calendars, web models or electronic devices) aimed to be resold, in which the Content of the FreePik Selection is the main element (because of size, relevance or any other cause, in case of doubt about whether the Content is main element, it shall be deemed that the Content is main element). The rest of conditions set forth in Sections 7 and 8 shall apply to any Subscription with Extended License.

С ней, похоже, можно грузить на принтшопы и т.д. Но я честно говоря не вижу ко всем ли товарам она применима и какова цена.

$10 за неэксклюзив это круто)) Я полгода с ними работала, так мне платили по $15 за эксклюзив и обещали повысить до $20, за акварель, пару раз даже заплатили, а потом обломались. Платили исправно, думаю доверять можно.
